Who am I
My name is Jacob Hartman. I am a half-Korean guy with a love for Christ, computers, music, and my Korean heritage. I was born in New York, and went to school in New York, and I’m working in New York. I graduated from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly), formerly known as State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNYIT), where I double majored in Network and Computer Security and Computer Science.
What I Do
I have a passion for offensive and defensive cybersecurity as well as education. I continue to be involved with clubs at SUNY Poly and a local cybersecurity event, CNY Hackathon, where I volunteer as a Red Team member. In my free time, I work on a number of personal programming projects (usually security or education-related), as well as dabble in web design, music, and writing.
My Faith
I am a Bible-believing Christian. I believe in the trinity, and in salvation though Jesus Christ, who now reigns as King. I believe that one day, Jesus will return to set the world right, and until then, we as Christians are tasked of doing God's kingdom-work until he returns. I currently attend Poland Community Baptist church.
